About the Role
The EU Project Officer supports the coordination and delivery of EU-funded projects that promote education, sustainability, and inclusion. Working closely with senior team members and project partners, this role ensures smooth implementation, clear communication, and timely results.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation of EU-funded projects and daily project coordination.
Assist with communication between SYNTHESIS and project partners.
Prepare progress reports, presentations, and documentation.
Help organize meetings, events, and dissemination activities.
Contribute to research, data collection, and proposal development.
Coordinate EU-funded projects to ensure successful implementation
Contribute to the development and writing of Erasmus+ project proposals
Prepare and submit narrative reports
Plan and implement effective communication and dissemination activities
Carry out other project-related tasks as required by project plan
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in EU-funded projects or related fields.
Good understanding of EU programs (Erasmus+, Horizon, etc.).
Strong organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills.
Degree in relevant field (Education, EU Studies, or Sustainability).
Excellent English communication skills (Greek an asset).
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the management and implementation of European projects
Experience in the development of project proposals
Excellent command of both Greek and English languages
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy
Proficiency in computer skills, including social media platforms
University degree or equivalent qualification
Excellent communication skills, including social media and multimedia proficiency
*Prior experience in an NGO and/or with the Erasmus+ program will be considered an advantage.
